About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical aspects of our major construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems on the construction site.

• Review and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and project requirements.

• Coordinate with project managers to plan schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for electrical works.

• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during the construction phase.

• Prepare and submit technical reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), and project documentation.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities as required.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, specifically on construction sites.

• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems.

• Strong understanding of international and local electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, etc.).

• Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP) and MS Office Suite.

Essential Requirement:

• Fluent in English – both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate effectively with an international team, prepare detailed reports, and understand technical documentation in English.

Desired Skills:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a strong advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
