The overall CARs-4 project objective is to enhance the efficiency of cross-border trade for participants of the regional economy and to improve the resilience and safety of regional connectivity infrastructure in Sughd Oblast and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous RegionMain objectives of the assignmentThe main task carried out by Project Translator is high-quality written translation of all letters, correspondence, documentation, presentation, materials related to the Project from English into Russian/Tajik and vice versa, verbal interpretation for PIG staff at official meetings, conferences, working discussions related to the Project, translation of technical reports, agreements, contracts and editing and revising translated documents, etc. The Terms of Reference for the assignment can be found at the following link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Zu-nyc5HUqJOOV3D5zV8vs8EgOckk9gS/view?usp=sharing Qualification requirements:• Higher education in humanitarian sciences (management, business administration, foreign languages, etc.).• Have excellent spoken and written skills in Tajik, English and Russian languages.• General work experience as translator and interpreter no less than 5 years;• Work experience as a translator/interpreter in international organizations and/or organizations financed by international donors no less than3 years;• Professional skills in making specific translations concerning road construction area are preferable;• Excellent PC skills.
