  • Project Coordinator Javonistan in Tajikistan
    “JavoniStan” is a new multi-year EU-funded initiative that aims to strengthen youth civil society as a driver of inclusive governance and sustainable development in Tajikistan. The project will support the creation of youth-friendly spaces that combine skills-building, social entrepreneurship, and community engagement. The project will work with a diverse range of youth-led and youth-serving civil society actors. Through tailored capacity strengthening, participatory design workshops, youth-led grants, and mentorship from experienced professionals, young people will be supported to design and implement initiatives in areas such as green economy, digital inclusion, and community services. Regular dialogues and public forums will provide opportunities for constructive interaction between youth, community leaders, local authorities, and private sector actors, helping to build trust and demonstrate the positive role of youth civil society in local development, in line with national strategies.Position Summary Project Coordinator will lead the coordination of project-related engagements with local implementing partners and key state actors on strengthening collaboration and cross-learning from the activities implemented on the ground and promoting best practices at the national level. She/He will work closely with Search Governance and Youth Thematic Lead, other staff, local implementing partners and other stakeholders to ensure timely and quality implementation of the project. She/He will administer day-to-day progress of activities and will ensure that the implementation of activities is meeting Search quality standards, is completed on-time, within budget, and to maximum effect.
