The program is being developed by citizens of Tajikistan in alignment with national education priorities and the National Education Development Strategy through 2030. It aims to attract and prepare talented university graduates and young professionals who are ready to dedicate two years to teaching in schools, particularly in rural and underserved regions of the country. Teach For Tajikistan sees its work as a complementary contribution to the national education system and to the development of human capital in Tajikistan. The initiative is also informed by the experience of the global Teach For All network.Teach For Tajikistan is seeking a Head of Recruitment to play a key role in the launch and institutional development of the program. This is both a strategic and operational role. The person in this position will be responsible for designing, launching, and continuously strengthening the recruitment function of the organization, with a primary focus on attracting, identifying, selecting, and supporting strong candidates for the Teach For Tajikistan Fellowship.The Head of Recruitment will build the overall recruitment system for the program, including outreach, candidate attraction, candidate journey design, application management, interviews, assessment activities, and final selection processes. The role requires close coordination with the Chief Executive Officer and the marketing function to ensure that recruitment strategy, public messaging, and candidate engagement are fully aligned with the organization’s mission, communication strategy, and brand.A major priority of this role is to help form the inaugural cohort of Teach For Tajikistan participants and establish a strong, transparent, and annually repeatable recruitment model. The Head of Recruitment will work to build and strengthen recruitment channels through universities, alumni communities, education networks, professional communities, digital platforms, and other relevant partnerships. The role may also support recruitment for organizational staff when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Head of Recruitment will:develop and implement the recruitment strategy for Teach For Tajikistan;help define the profile of program participants and priority candidate segments;build and maintain partnerships with universities, educational institutions, alumni networks, professional communities, and other relevant stakeholders;organize presentations, information sessions, meetings, and recruitment events;identify and engage candidates through professional networks and digital platforms, including LinkedIn;manage candidate communications and support applicants throughout the recruitment journey;coordinate application review, interviews, assessment activities, and selection stages;track candidate data, recruitment funnel metrics, and process performance;propose improvements to recruitment systems, candidate experience, and selection processes;collaborate closely with leadership, staff members, volunteers, partners, and the broader Teach For All recruitment community.Candidate ProfileWe are looking for a professional who can combine strategy, relationship-building, and disciplined execution. The primary purpose of the position is to support fundraising activities and partnership development that enable the organization to implement and expand its educational programs.The Fundraising Associate works closely with the leadership team and contributes to key fundraising processes — from researching potential donors and funding opportunities to preparing proposals, presentations, and supporting partnership negotiations. The role includes preparing materials for meetings, maintaining communication with donors and partners, and supporting engagement throughout the entire process from initial contact to successful funding outcomes.An important part of the role is preparing written materials such as grant applications, partnership proposals, presentations, and fundraising materials. The position also involves researching new funding opportunities, analyzing donor programs, and using specialized platforms and tools to identify grants and funding sources.The Fundraising Associate collaborates with different teams within the organization, including communications and marketing, to develop online fundraising initiatives and digital campaigns. In this work, the specialist may use modern digital tools, including AI tools, to improve the effectiveness of fundraising efforts.The role requires a high level of initiative, responsibility, and organization. The specialist participates in meetings with partners and donors, manages professional correspondence, and supports negotiations.
